Philadelphia, PA – November 22, 2016 /AxisWire/ 2016 Greenhouse Ventures – a business accelerator specific for ancillary startups in the cannabis and industrial hemp industries – will host its second industry conference, which will include an accredited CME course, co-hosted by Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Thomas Jefferson University’s Center for Medical Cannabis Education & Research.
Innovation in the Cannabis Industry: Future Outlook is Greenhouse Ventures second industry conference, following a sold out Innovation in the Cannabis Industry: Technology, Medical & Investment conference, that took place in April 2016 in Center City, Philadelphia. Future Outlook will include multiple panel discussions with over 15 professionals with backgrounds in finance, technology, government, and medical research. With the new Trump Administration, Jeff Sessions nominated as Attorney General, and 8 states legalizing some form of cannabis, 2017 is set to be an historic year for the cannabis industry.
Innovation in the Cannabis Industry: Future Outlook will offer the option for medical professionals to purchase a ticket for a one hour, accredited CME course that will be hosted by Thomas Jefferson University. Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. This course will run from 8am-9am before the general conference begins. There will only be 30 seats available for the CME course; tickets will be available for sale starting Friday, November 11, 2016. CME tickets can be purchased separately, or bundled with the general conference attendance.
